Job description

PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking dependable, motivated, and energetic PACKING ASSOCIATES for a distribution company in Romeoville, IL.
 

These are 1st shift TEMP-TO-HIRE opportunities starting at $19.00 per hour
7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
 

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, team-player mentality, and excellent attendance!
 

The Pack Associate is responsible for accurately packing small HVAC parts and service components for customer and dealer orders within a high-volume distribution environment.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Utilize RF scanners or pick tickets to verify part numbers, quantities, and overall order accuracy, while selecting the appropriate cartons, dunnage, and packaging materials to ensure timely, damage-free shipments
  • Label, seal, and stage packages for outbound shipping
  • Maintain established productivity and quality performance standards
  • Identify or report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to leadership
  • Strict adherence to all safety policies, standard operating procedures, and housekeeping guidelines
  • Keep packing stations clean and fully stocked
  • Assist with rework or peak-season volume projects, and work collaboratively across picking, shipping, inventory, and quality teams

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of previous warehouse/distribution experience
  • Must be reliable and safety conscious. Attendance and teamwork are key!
