Job Description:
A Software Engineer Intern plays an important role within our Early Careers Program at RRS Group. During the internship, you will work alongside experienced Software Engineers, Data Analysts, Architects, Project Managers, and other business professionals to develop innovative technology solutions that support real estate development, architecture, construction management, and facility operations.
Interns will be assigned a meaningful project that can be completed within the duration of the internship program. At the conclusion of the program, interns will present their project outcomes, key learnings, and overall internship experience to company leadership.
This role requires a commitment to technical excellence, collaboration, continuous learning, and problem-solving. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to contribute across multiple disciplines and business functions.
Software Development Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET, SQL, C#, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Support the design and development of software solutions for real estate development, property management, architecture, and facility operations.
- Participate in code reviews and peer-review processes.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and software development guidelines.
- Utilize source control systems and version management tools.
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles when appropriate.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing software applications.
Real Estate & Business Knowledge
- Learn the fundamentals of commercial real estate development, architecture, construction management, and facility solutions.
- Gain exposure to technology platforms that support property operations and business processes.
- Create and maintain technical and business documentation.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with team members across departments.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in 2027.
- Must have at least one year remaining in the degree program at the start of the internship.
- Available to participate in the internship program from November 2026 through February 2027 (approximately 11 weeks).
