Schedule: Full-Time, Temp to Hire, Monday - Friday: 2:30pm-11pm
Machine Operator Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a precision manufacturing facility in search of team-oriented, career-driven Machine Operators. The Machine Operator will operate CNC Lathe and Milling machines to manufacture precision parts for the medical device industry. The Machine Operator will play a key role in running daily production in a fast-paced environment, ensuring parts are manufactured to print, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance. The ideal Machine Operator has experience in a precision machining environment, strong math skills, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards. The Machine Operator is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Minneapolis, MN.
Machine Operator Job Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Lathe & Milling Machines to Manufacture Precision Parts
Manufacture Parts to Print While Maintaining a High Level of Quality
Inspect Parts Utilizing Micrometers, Calipers, & Pressure Micrometers
Maintain Required Production Rates & Ensure Consistent Machine Performance
Perform Preventative Maintenance on CNC Machines as Scheduled
Collaborate With the Production Team to Meet Daily Manufacturing Goals
Maintain a Clean, Safe, & Orderly Work Environment at All Times
Must Adhere to All Safety & PPE Requirements
Machine Operator Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Diploma in a Machining Related Course From a Technical or Trade School Preferred
Proven Experience Operating CNC Lathe & Milling Machines Required
Strong Mathematics Background, Preferably in Machine Shop Math, Required
Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints & Technical Prints Preferred
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) is a Plus
Ability to Program & Set-Up CNC Machines is a Strong Plus
Excellent Attention to Detail & Quality Control Skills
Have Consistent Punctual Attendance & Team-Oriented Attitude
