POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, and test and adjust.
- Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic, and industrial skills required.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
- Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take initiative, identifying potential problems and solutions.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
- Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be detail-oriented.
