Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an Activity Security Representative II to provide multi-disciplined security support to Department of Defense Special Access Program activities at Peterson AFB, Colorado. The position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities and performs document control, personnel security, visitor control, access administration, compliance, and security awareness functions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence and support document accountability activities.
Process classified mail, receipt records, magnetic media, reproduction requests, and destruction of classified material.
Maintain daily logs and administrative records associated with document control and security operations.
Process inbound and outbound data-transfer files and transfer authorized electronic data to internal customers.
Research, process, file, and maintain visit notices; escort visitors and maintain associated logs.
Assist with facility access badges, entry/exit inspections, and access-control systems.
Maintain personnel-security files and customer-sponsored access records.
Review, track, and monitor security-clearance processing activities with government personnel.
Participate in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections of government organizations and industry.
Implement Top Secret control for accountable material and associated correspondence.
Prepare and review Program Access Requests and execute SAP nomination-process questionnaires.
Conduct applicable personnel-security database reviews and maintain access data.
Perform indoctrinations and support security awareness and education programs.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of related security experience.
Bachelor's degree desired. For this vacancy, a bachelor's degree may count as four years of experience and an associate's degree in a related area may count as two years of experience.
SAP experience is required.
SFPC may count as one year of experience; SPSC may count as one year. Program guidance limits SPED certification equivalency to no more than three years total.
Must complete DoD SAPCO-approved SAP Nomination Process training if performing personnel-security functions.
Knowledge of classified-material accountability, personnel security, visitor control, and SAP/SCI administrative security procedures.
Security Requirements
Current active Top Secret/SCI eligibility is required.
Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program information.
Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph, as required by the task order.
