The maintenance person will be responsible
for the needs of the facility and assign and / or help safely perform
applicable installation, maintenance and / or repair to areas that could
include electrical, mechanical pneumatic, hydraulic, building equipment,
refrigeration / freezers (not meant to be all inclusive) in order to ensure
safe, effective operations at the facility. Monitor sub-contractors to ensure
all work is performed as guaranteed and meets all necessary guidelines
· Work within the departmental budget – know your equipment, products,
priorities, etc.… in order to assist in achieving this
· Other duties may include but are not limited to painting, tiling, sheet
rocking, cleaning of dish machines, vents, traps & screens, HAVAC / HVAC
equipment. Changing of filters, lightbulbs, and batteries
· Some light mechanical duties associated with fleet maintenance
· Any other duties as assigned as associated with the maintenance of the
facility.
· Technical school, advanced schooling, certification and / or
apprenticeship training desired
· Demonstrated mechanical, handy / repair man aptitude
· 5+ years of documented relatable work history
· Knowledge of maintenance shop equipment
· Ability to take instruction & work independently or amongst a team is
required
· Effective multi-tasking & time management skills
· Valid driver’s license with a clean record
· Ability to work in extreme temperatures – list / push 75+ pounds
occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 25+ pounds consistently. Bend,
stoop, reach, climb & twist repeatedly. Stand / walk 8-12 hours / day
