We are hiring 6 experienced Access Control / Structured Cabling Technicians for an immediate Data Center project in Cartersville, Georgia.
This is a great opportunity for technicians with hands-on experience in access control, security cabling, Cat6, fiber, copper, and commercial low-voltage installation. We are looking for people who can start quickly, work safely, and perform clean, professional installation work.
What You Will Be Doing
- Rough-in 18/6 security cable for doors.
- Pull and install Cat6 for cameras and security devices.
- Dress, label, terminate, and test Cat6 and copper cabling.
- Terminate card readers, REX devices, DPS contacts, hinges, and related access-control devices.
- Route pre-terminated fiber and copper cable bundles.
- Install and organize patch panels, enclosures, cable managers, and network infrastructure.
- Assist with copper and fiber testing.
- Read drawings, device layouts, cable schedules, and installation instructions.
- Maintain clean cable pathways, racks, and organized work areas.
Requirements
What We Need
- 3+ years of commercial low-voltage, access control, security, structured cabling, or network installation experience.
- Experience terminating Cat5e/Cat6 and working with access-control devices.
- Experience with card readers, REX devices, DPS contacts, door hardware, and security cabling.
- Experience routing fiber and copper cabling; fiber testing experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, cable schedules, device drawings, and installation layouts.
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to Cartersville, GA each day.
- Ability to work from ladders, lift materials, and perform hands-on field work.
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass drug and background check
PPE Requirements
- Type II hard hat with chin strap
- A4 cut-resistant gloves
- Safety boots and standard construction PPE

- $34–$38 per hour, based on experience
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
