Accounting Intern

The Nash Group, P.S., a well-established tax and consulting firm in Fircrest, WA, is seeking an Accounting Intern to support our team during the busy tax season (January–April 2026). Our professional yet relaxed office values collaboration, positivity, and genuine care for our clients and one another. This internship is a great opportunity for a student or aspiring professional to gain hands-on experience in public accounting while working with a supportive, growth-oriented team.

Accounting Intern Benefits

• $17.13 - $19.00 an hour depending on experience
• WA Standard Sick Leave
• Flexible Scheduling (10 - 20 hours a week)

Highlighted Responsibilities

As our Accounting Intern, you’ll play an important role in supporting our accounting staff and helping the firm run smoothly during the busy tax season. Key duties include:

• Assisting staff with preparing and organizing client tax and financial documents
• Reviewing and entering data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supporting daily operations such as scanning, filing, and maintaining organized records
• Monitoring and organizing incoming client information, emails, and project files
• Providing general office support to ensure projects and client deadlines are met

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and ready to grow in a high-trust environment. Ideal candidates will have:

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or Business program OR a demonstrated interest in accounting
• BONUS: Coursework or experience in bookkeeping, financial accounting, or tax preparation
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality
• Occasionally assist with organizing or moving office supplies and archived files (up to 50 lbs)
