Job Description
  • This is a short-term part-time position (20 hrs/week) through year-end 2023.
  • Assist in the development of SQL databases that enable access to capital model results in a standardized manner.
  • Assist in the automation of reports and analysis using (SQL/R/Python or similar).
  • Learn to pull data from internal company sources to enable faster analyses to support senior management.
  • Assist in the developing and testing of cat pricing algorithms.
  • Provide support on business analysis, ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL database management and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient MS Office and Visual Basic for Applications skills.
  • Strong computer programming (SQL/R/Python, or similar).
  • Team player who works effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to details with critical and logical thinking.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Pursuing a computer science/engineering/analytics/mathematics degree.

The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
