An instructor in this position will conduct college courses for undergraduate students in the Veterinary Medical Technology Program. This individual must possess the knowledge and skills to teach and supervise students in classroom, lab and clinical settings. We are seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) to join our Clinical Practices team. The successful candidate will serve primarily in our outpatient clinic, working with shelter animals and collaborating closely with other veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) instructors. This role also includes teaching and mentoring aspiring veterinary technician students in a hands-on, clinical learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to shelter animals through our outpatient clinic.
Perform common small animal surgical procedures and dentistry with proficiency.
Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and RVT instructors to ensure high-quality patient care.
Supervise and teach veterinary technician students in a clinical practice setting.
Maintain clear and accurate medical records and support a culture of learning and clinical excellence.
