As an AlgoSec Network Security Engineer, you will:

• Install, configure, and support AlgoSec solutions including AFA, FireFlow, and AppViz for network security policy management.
  
• Review, analyze, and optimize firewall policies and rule sets across multi-vendor environments to improve compliance and minimize security risks.
  
• Perform L2/L3 network security support, troubleshooting firewall and connectivity-related incidents.
  
• Automate network security operations using Python scripting and support process improvements through automation.
  
• Conduct firewall policy vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation activities.
  
• Use AlgoSec AppViz to map business applications to network connectivity and security policies for enhanced visibility.
  
• Utilize AlgoSec FireFlow to automate and manage firewall policy change requests while ensuring approvals and compliance controls.
  
• Generate reports and dashboards on policy health, risk posture, and compliance metrics using AlgoSec analytics.
  
• Support upgrades, patching, and advanced troubleshooting in collaboration with security vendors and internal teams.
  
• Provide technical guidance and best practices around firewall governance and AlgoSec operations.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• 6–8 years of experience in Network Security Engineering, with strong exposure to AlgoSec solutions.
  
• Hands-on expertise in AlgoSec AFA, FireFlow, and AppViz.
  
• Strong knowledge of Network Security L2/L3, firewall administration, and policy management.
  
• Experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Firepower, and Fortinet/FortiGate.
  
• Solid understanding of firewall rule analysis, compliance management, and risk reduction.
  
• Experience in Python scripting/automation for security and network tasks.
  
• Good exposure to Proxy technologies, WAF, and Splunk is desirable.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills in complex network security environments.
  

You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Manage and optimize enterprise firewall policies in complex multi-vendor environments.
  
• Identify security gaps and recommend remediation aligned with compliance requirements.
  
• Automate repetitive network security activities to improve operational efficiency.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network security and connectivity issues.
  
• Work cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, and application teams.
  
• Support change management processes while ensuring governance and audit readiness.
  
• Communicate technical findings clearly and provide support/training to internal stakeholders.
