Your work profile

•  This is an SDET role, so hands-on coding ability and strong problem-solving skills are essential.
• Simply knowing automation frameworks, tools, or technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, Robot Framework, or Playwright is not sufficient.
• Candidates will be evaluated based on their coding and logical skills and will be required to solve coding challenges during the technical rounds.

Key Required Skills:

• Playwright + JavaScript/TypeScript Automation
• 2-3 years of experience

Automation Expertise (Mandatory)

• Proficient in Playwright using JavaScript (Node.js)/ TypeScript for end-to-end web application testing. 
• Strong experience in API test automation through code (not Postman), leveraging Playwright/ Rest Assured for deeper integration and control. 
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts, suitable for SDET roles requiring hands-on coding is mandatory

Technical Proficiency (Mandatory)

• Solid programming skills in JavaScript/ TypeScript. 
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control systems for seamless integration and deployment. 
• Experience in DevOps environments, including: 
• Working with Docker images 
• Configuring GitLab CI/CD 
• Writing and managing YAML files 
• Familiarity with test management tools like IBM Jazz, Quality Center, JIRA or similar platforms.

 Quality & Process Orientation (Mandatory)

• Excellent communication and analytical skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving. 
• Proven experience in testing web-based applications across diverse domains. 
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and modern software testing practices, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have) 

• Experience with NFR (Non-Functional Requirements) testing using tools like: K6 , Sitespeed.io

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
