Job description

As a systems and infrastructure operations, maintenance and development analyst, you support IT efficiency. You design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade business solutions, computer networks, management systems, programs and database servers based on the organization's needs. You analyze and diagnose complex issues related to IT infrastructure component deliveries and rollouts. You respond to large-scale, highly complex infrastructure project delivery requests. You provide opinions in accordance with your discipline's rules and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs. You recommend implementation plans. Your projects and initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. You direct and guide work to meet objectives. You help solve highly complex problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. You lead and serve as a subject matter expert for your unit, clients and practitioners. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Help clients define their needs. Analyze and interpret data according to your field of expertise to inform decision-making on choosing appropriate IT infrastructure components.
  • Develop complex execution strategies, determine their scope and write procedures and guidelines. 
  • Analyze risks. Write highly complex reports, propose solutions and make recommendations. Serve as a specialist on how to implement recommendations.
  • Oversee the implementation of action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
