Your Role at impact.com:
As a Mid-Level Android Developer at Impact.com, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Android application. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, our product manager, designer, and fellow developers, to create a high-quality, user-friendly apps that meet the needs of our customers.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with our tech lead, product manager and designer to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain our Android application so that it adheres to best practices and deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the development team.
- Debug and resolve issues and bugs identified by QA and end-users, providing timely solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies, and actively incorporate them into projects.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and Android versions.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent
work experience). - 3+ years of professional experience in Android app development.
- Proficiency in Kotlin programming.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and web services integration.
- Familiarity with responsive UI/UX principles.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
