About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Android Developer to join our remote-first team and help power a new generation of mobile products in staffing, SaaS, hospitality, fintech, and more. Responsibilities

  • End-to-end Android development: Design, build, test, and deploy high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver delightful user experiences.

  • Optimize apps for performance, stability, and security across a variety of Android devices.

  • Own entire features — from concept to delivery and iteration.

  • Continuously experiment with new frameworks, UI tools, and architecture patterns.

  • Operate within a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of professional Android development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack libraries.

  • Solid understanding of modern Android architecture (MVVM, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose).

  • Experience shipping at least one app to the Google Play Store or contributing to enterprise-scale apps.

  • Deep understanding of mobile UX and attention to detail in user interface implementation.

  • Self-motivated and productive in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Firebase, Room, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android.

  • Passion for UI design, animations, and motion-rich experiences.

  • Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small development teams.

  • Exposure to cross-platform development tools like Flutter (optional but a plus).
