Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Java Developer with 2–4 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, databases, and modern development practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions while contributing to application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Application Development
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices based on business and technical requirements.
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
Technical Design & Implementation
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution development.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation artifacts.
• Work with senior developers and architects to implement scalable and secure solutions.
• Support application modernization and migration initiatives.
Database & Integration
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and database objects.
• Work with relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Implement data persistence using Hibernate, JPA, or ORM frameworks.
• Support application integration through APIs and event-driven architectures.
Quality & Testing
• Develop unit test cases using frameworks such as Mockito and JUnit.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and quality processes.
DevOps & Deployment
• Work with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Gradle.
• Participate in containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaboration
• Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, QA teams, and other developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and project discussions.
• Provide regular status updates and support issue resolution activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and Artifactory.
• Knowledge of API security concepts such as OAuth and JWT.
• Experience with application migration or modernization projects.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to enterprise application architecture and design patterns.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience working in financial services, insurance, or other enterprise environments.
