Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, constructing, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project requirements, ensuring that the applications developed align with organizational goals. The developer collaborates with various stakeholders to translate business objectives into functional software solutions, while also refining and optimizing existing applications to enhance performance and user experience. The workday is dynamic, balancing creative problem-solving with technical implementation to deliver reliable and efficient applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development lifecycle from requirement analysis through deployment to ensure timely delivery of high-quality applications.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align application development with business strategies and technical standards.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing scalable data pipelines and integrating data analytics within application frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data processing and distributed computing concepts.
- Ability to optimize application performance through efficient data handling and processing techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline application deployment and maintenance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
