Job Description

Lmw is seeking an Application Developer , on behalf of its client, IBM, a leading multinational IT company. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and motivated professional, specialized in Java technologies, who will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions using Java and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and related frameworks.
  • Implement and optimize Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Quartz components.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to create dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces.
  • Integrate with legacy systems using EGL and manage Db2 databases.
  • Configure and maintain applications on WebSphere Liberty.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Quartz.
  • Experience (or familiarity) with Vaadin is highly desirable.
  • Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Db2 database management and EGL for legacy system integration.
  • Understanding of WebSphere Liberty application server and its configuration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English (spoken and written).
