Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and collaboration with different teams to maintain service reliability and minimize disruptions to business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of application issues and enhance system stability.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to optimize support workflows and reduce incident resolution times.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Architecture.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management within the AWS environment.
- Strong understanding of system monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Ability to analyze complex system interactions and provide effective solutions to maintain high availability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
