Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively identifying and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires continuous monitoring and investigation to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption. The position demands a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while adapting to evolving challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize support processes.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues within large-scale data environments.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and address software and system anomalies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes to ensure timely resolution.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
