Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving capabilities and technical knowledge.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level business applications.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify root causes.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle management and incident management processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our PDC3C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
