Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, your day involves acting as a software detective, diligently investigating and resolving issues that arise across various components of essential business systems. You will engage in continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption. Your role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential problems before they impact business functions, collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and provide timely resolutions to system issues.
- Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future troubleshooting efforts.
- Assist junior team members by sharing insights and providing guidance on resolving common challenges.
- Continuously monitor system health and escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders promptly.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of database management and optimization techniques.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving complex software and database issues.
- Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to identify root causes of problems.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and data integrity processes within database environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining high system availability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
