Product bench marking studies for different OEM.
Business development, Design Data sheet and product Approval
· Competition mapping and Application engineering
· Working closely with Customers, product development team and AE functions for new business.
· Support the activities related to Product line management data cables, and LAN Network components and accessories
· Cross functional and global collaborative working with vendor’s partners and STL resources.
(Skills, Knowledge, Special Attributes, Mobility:
· Cable and passive components Parameters, design (High end LAN Cable products) and required certification compliances requirements
· Knowledge of new applications next generation LAN System (Passive and Fundamental knowledge on LAN Actives also)
· Supporting STL Own brand STL cabling Solution to sales and marketing for technical data sheet, marketing collateral development, Application note, white papers.
· First level Technical support for New Business opportunities.
· Technical knowhow of High and Low frequency electrical parameters
· Sound knowledge of international applicable standards
· Well experienced with LAN Cable designs and manufacturing
· Presentation n Communication skills
· Ensuring new products Development to meet the dynamic needs of OEM customers and end users.
· Bench- marking products against competitors; continuously improving / developing new products.
· Evaluating New technologies, alternative solutions to incorporate into New and existing products, with focus on improving products cost, quality and reliability
· Converting customer specified changes/ improvements or products variation requests into designed for manufacture solutions, as suggested by sales & marketing teams
· Applications engineering expertise to check the Quality testing and reliability of the new products sample to meet the customer specification.
· Support Sales team through New Application & Competition Mapping - Participating with different standard committee like BIS, TEC for regulation & control of ICT Passive networks & contributes for different standards
Support solutions portfolio builds and solutions launch for different regions
Improve customer response time for all new inquiries includes the Data sheet, Quote and sample submission and qualifications.
Opportunities for Innovation via Collaboration, Partnership as well as in-house innovation
Product development and qualifications from various customers from different regions
Work for improvement of application based testing and qualifications process and upgrades in SPEL includes PoE, SPE, HDBaseT, Long Reach Ethernet and DC offerings
