Job description

**Position:** Audio Video (AV) Technician Apprentice  
**Location:** Wellington, FL and surrounding areas 
**Job Type:** Full-Time

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Audio Video (AV) Technician Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the AV industry. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced AV technicians, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems in various commercial and residential environments.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist with the installation and maintenance of AV systems including projectors, speakers, video walls, control systems, and more.
- Interpret and follow blueprints and schematics for AV system layouts.
- Work in various environments, including small, confined areas and at heights.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install AV equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and project managers.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during installations or service calls.

**Requirements:**

- **Strong communication skills** – Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
- **Ability to read blueprints** – Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and plans.
- **Excellent work ethic** – A motivated individual who is punctual, reliable, and eager to learn.
- **High school diploma** (or equivalent).
- **Physical ability** – Capable of lifting heavy equipment and tools (up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
- Comfortable working in **small, confined areas** and at **heights** (not afraid of heights).
- Familiarity with **hand tools** and **power tools**.
 
**Preferred Qualifications (but not required):**

- Prior experience or interest in the AV industry.
- Basic knowledge of AV equipment and systems.

Compensation: $0.20 per hour
