About the Role:
The Assembler--Electrical/Electronic III plays a critical role in the production and assembly of complex electrical and electronic components and systems. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that all assemblies meet stringent quality and performance standards. The assembler will work closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. The role demands a thorough understanding of electronic components, soldering techniques, and testing procedures to deliver reliable and functional products. Ultimately, the assembler contributes to the successful manufacturing process by ensuring that all electrical and electronic assemblies are completed accurately and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical/electronic assembly or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with soldering techniques and electronic component handling.
- Basic knowledge of testing equipment and quality control procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in electronics assembly or soldering (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001).
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with electronic products.
- Familiarity with automated assembly equipment and inspection tools.
- Ability to use computerized tracking and documentation systems.
- Additional training in safety standards related to electrical assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical and electronic components according to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Perform soldering, wiring, and component placement with high precision to meet quality standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections and functional testing to verify assembly integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
