Job Description
The Assistant Director for Educator Preparation Program Data Systems and Reporting provides EPP‑wide leadership for the management, integrity, analysis, and reporting of clinical experiences data across all educator preparation programs. Housed in the Office of Field Experience, this position oversees the clinical data lifecycle from application through post‑completion, serves as the primary administrator for the EPP’s clinical data system, and ensures the timely preparation of data and reports required for accreditation, state, federal, and institutional accountability.
Reporting to the Associate Dean and Director of Field Experience, the Assistant Director works collaboratively with faculty, university supervisors, and advisory board members to support data‑informed decision‑making and continuous improvement related to clinical preparation. The position exercises significant independence, supervises graduate assistants, and plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and usability of EPP clinical data.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in education, research, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience managing data systems or databases, including ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and usability.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights for decision-making.
• Experience developing or implementing assessment tools (e.g., surveys, rubrics, evaluation instruments) and supporting data quality and reliability.
• Experience with educator preparation, accreditation, or program accountability processes (e.g., CAEP, state approval, or similar).
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree in education, evaluation, research, or a related field.
• Experience with educator preparation, accreditation, or program accountability processes (e.g., CAEP, state approval, or similar).
• Experience with educator preparation data systems (e.g., CORE, Tk20, Watermark, or similar platforms).
• Experience supporting continuous improvement or quality assurance efforts in an educational context.
