Job Description

Assistant Manager – Core Banking Development

Location: Karachi
Department: Information Technology 


About the Role

Raqami is looking for a skilled Assistant Manager – Core Banking Development to support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of core banking solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in core banking systems along with hands-on experience in configurations, integrations, and production support. Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Core Banking products including account types, schemes, charges, and limits
  • Perform system setup, parameterization, and administrative activities within the Core Banking platform
  • Support implementation of new banking products and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, transaction, and integration issues
  • Analyze database structures, validate data, and assist in root-cause analysis
  • Develop and manage integrations with internal and external systems via APIs and web services
  • Review technical documents and participate in UAT and production deployments
  • Provide post-implementation and production support to ensure system stability


Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Core Banking development, implementation, or support
  • Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and transaction flows
  • Hands-on experience with product configuration, account setup, and parameter management
  • Solid experience with Oracle/SQL databases and troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of .NET/.NET Core and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Familiarity with system integrations and messaging standards
