Job Description
The Associate Engineering Technologist will provide technical support to achieve profitable production of high-quality products, perform and design standard procedures for continuous quality and process improvement.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing quality concerns.
- Control of non-conforming material flow throughout the plant.
- Assist with product final audit and testing.
- Provide customer concern support and corrective actions.
- Ensure supplier correction action effectiveness for all incoming material concerns.
- Participate in layered audit process.
- Monitor and analyze plant waste metrics.
- Define preventive measures and detect control methods.
- Monitor SPC activity and escalate issues as necessary.
- Support new products and engineering changes.
- Additional job duties as necessary to facilitate plant operation and needs.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
HS Diploma and applicable work experience required
Specific Skills and Abilities:
- 1-2 year’s quality experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired.
- Must be able to work all shifts as required.
- Strong leadership, people, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to communicate to all levels of organization.
- Must be able to solve problems and issues. Must be detail oriented.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP desired.
- Experience with rubber manufacturing desired. Experience with rubber manufacturing desired.
- Experience working with quality standards ISO9001 or similar.
