Bring your expertise in human movement, mobility, and performance to StretchLab.

StretchLab is seeking Athletic Trainers and sports-performance professionals who want to expand their expertise into one-on-one assisted stretching.

Your background in anatomy, biomechanics, mobility, injury prevention, and human performance provides an outstanding foundation for becoming a StretchLab Flexologist™.

Our clients range from recreational athletes and weekend warriors to active older adults and people who simply want to move through everyday life more comfortably. Flexologists work individually with clients to improve mobility, flexibility, range of motion, and movement quality.

StretchLab is the industry leader in evidence-based assisted stretching. All Flexologists complete our extensive Flexologist Training Program™—the only nationally accredited certificate program in assisted stretching.

Our assisted stretching primarily incorporates PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) techniques, which may already be familiar to candidates with athletic training and sports-performance backgrounds.

What You’ll Do

  •  Provide individualized one-on-one assisted stretching sessions.
  •  Use your understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, flexibility, and mobility to support client goals.
  •  Work with clients ranging from athletes seeking better performance and recovery to adults seeking improved everyday movement.
  •  Coach and educate clients about mobility and consistent stretching.
  •  Track client progress and document each session.
  •  Build lasting client relationships and encourage adherence to recurring stretch programs.
  •  Maintain StretchLab safety and stretching protocols.
  •  Participate in ongoing education, staff meetings, first visits, and community events.
  •  Maintain a clean, professional studio environment.
What We’re Looking For

  •  Degree and/or nationally recognized credential in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, or a closely related field
  •  Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, mobility, and range of motion.
  •  Excellent communication and coaching ability.
  •  Comfortable working one-on-one with clients from a wide variety of ages and fitness levels.
  •  Passion for movement, recovery, mobility, and helping people achieve physical goals.
  •  Professional, dependable, and relationship-oriented.
  •  Ability to successfully complete StretchLab’s Flexologist Training Program™, including online education, a two-day workshop, and practical training.
If the mobility, recovery, and movement-quality side of athletic training is what you enjoy most, StretchLab gives you the opportunity to make it the focus of your work.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Stretching is ancient, but StretchLab has redefined what it means to get a stretch.

Having someone with years of experience read your body, assess your needs and make sure that you have been thoroughly, expertly stretched is an experience like no other. To push you further than you can push yourself and open you up in ways that you just can't do on your own. Stretching is really good for you. Being stretched is the key to a longer and healthier life.
