Description

@Orchard LLC is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support a highly visible NOAA National Ocean Service (NOS) program. The ideal candidate will have experience managing program and project activities for scientific projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce regular performance reports and metrics in coordination with program leadership.
  • Assist the PMO with tracking and drafting project agreements.
  • Produce planning documents, data flow diagrams, and communication materials for program activities.
  • Complete compliance reviews on project awards and assist other representatives with the review process
  • Capture technical requirements and communicate them clearly to all project partners.
  • Monitor assets during weather events (e.g., tropical storms), maintain tracking databases, and produce summary reports for leadership.
  • Coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure new data types are successfully integrated into central databases.
Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering field (Oceanography, Marine Science, Hydrology, Environmental Science, or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience supporting or leading scientific/marine/ environmental observation projects.
  • Proven ability to manage requirements and workflows using GitHub and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with NOAA programs is required.
