As a QA working on StorageGRID manageability via Grid Manager Interface and other customer facing applications, you will be responsible for testing and automation of software applications used by StorageGRID customers.
You will be part of a highly skilled technical team and working closely with the team of software developers responsible for the design, development, QA and install/deployment of applications used by our post sales, partners and customers.
Job Requirements
A major part of your responsibility will be to apply current skills and use up-to-date technologies to complete projects as part of the design and development of application related solutions including:
Coding (Automation)
Testing
Debugging
Documentation
As part of a team, you will participate in technical discussions where, evaluating and executing design and development plans for products/tools. A willingness to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.
Technical:
Must Have’s:
o Experience in testing Enterprise storage management applications and APIs.
o Experience in designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
o Hands on experience in automated GUI testing, and automation using Python, Ruby, or similar programming language.
o Review GUI for consistency and functionality.
o Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
o Good experience with Storage domain, knowledge on Storage protocols (S3 / Swift) desired.
o Understanding and experience in product life cycle and development processes, good knowledge of test methodologies like black-white box, integration, system testing
Education
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is required. 5 to 8 years of experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or a Master Degree; or equivalent experience is required.
• Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks
