Project description

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation engineer in Pune to join to software and service delivery team within a Technology center of a Global Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with stakeholders of delivery process (including business and users)
  • Develop end-to-end automation tests using Java
  • Requirements analysis
  • Support testing environment
  • Design of tests, estimation and planning of QA automation activities
  • Investigation of test results, bug reporting and tracking

Skills

Must have

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT (exceptionally strong technical graduates may also be considered)
  • Strong academic background, preferably in an engineering or related technical field
  • Solid software development experience or substantial experience in test automation
  • Good understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Flexible, proactive individual with a strong can‑do attitude
  • Fast learner, able to quickly absorb and apply new information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Good knowledge in any programming/scripting language( Java/python/Javascript etc)
  • Had experience in UI & API Automation testing

Nice to have

  • Experience in Agile Framework
