Our Validation Engineers play a key role in making the vehicle of the future a reality by developing technologies that deliver a turnkey, fully autonomous driving system for our customers and enable Mobility on Demand (MoD). As we expand our global footprint, we are looking for exceptional engineering talent to research and apply innovative solutions to our products.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Validate the correctness and performance of computer vision algorithms
  • Design and implement software for the algorithm validation
  • Create new tools to improve the validation efforts and workflow
  • Tackle the challenge of autonomous driving through innovative software stacks that interface with all components of the autonomous driving vehicles
  • Implement the prototype algorithms in an autonomous vehicle for on­road and simulation tests
  • Collaborate with the team of Autonomous Driving algorithm experts in localization, perception, motion planning and platform control
  • Show initiative and be a valued leader in our innovative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where cooperative teamwork is the norm
  • Build new concepts and groundbreaking solutions that shape the future of mobility
  • Troubleshoot and debug test software and equipment
  • Create training materials

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, ECE, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s or PhD strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in C and C++ programming.
  • Ability to understand and implement state-of-the-art algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Linux development environment.
  • Research experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of variant optimal estimation algorithms (Kalman Filter, EKF, UKF) in a real robotics system is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithm development in Simulink, Stateflow, and MATLAB scripting.
  • Preferred candidate will have knowledge of production code generation using MATLAB Coder/Simulink embedded coder.
  • Proficient in-vehicle debugging and testing skills using vehicle CAN communication tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.), dSPACE/ControlDesk.
  • Results oriented, and previous demonstrated experience in product quality and innovation.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
