About This Position
We are an exceptional team of software engineers looking for a vehicle modeling and controls expert to join our team and assist with the development of a cutting edge platform used to validate autonomous vehicle technology.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop, maintain, & improve vehicle models & controllers for autonomous vehicle simulations
- Understand & maintain the APIs connecting vehicle models, controllers, & motion planning software
- In simulation, reproduce the communication streams needed to run a vehicle controller
- Tune simulated vehicle model performance to match real world vehicle test data
- General software development support for an autonomous vehicle simulation platform
