Seeking a talented AUTOSAR Application with Model Based Software Developer to join our global team and will be responsible for overseeing the entire Model Based system development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and testing. Ensure timely delivery and high-quality output. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles with interaction with graphics team.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Autosar Software Components.
- Configure and use model‑to‑code toolchains to generate production ready, MISRA compliant C/C++ from Simulink/State flow.
- Analyze and fix software bugs and defects across models, generate code, and integration layers.
- Improve algorithm design and generated code for performance, memory, and real-time constraints.
- Ensure compliance with automotive safety and quality standards including ISO 26262 and ASPICE. Maintain requirements for traceability.
- Write and support technical documentation for models, generated code, interfaces, and architecture.
- Plan and execute MIL, SIL, and PIL testing and debugging to find root causes and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with systems and software architects to translate high-level requirements into modular, scalable model architecture.
- Create and support automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for model builds, code generation, testing, and delivery.
- Train and mentor junior developers; perform technical reviews of models and generated code to ensure quality and robustness.
- Interface and lead debugging sessions with integration teams (Stellantis and ECU suppliers) to resolve integration issues.
- Collaborate with validation teams to analyze defects and close validation gaps.
- Define and support development plans, roadmaps, and KPIs, report progress and quality metrics.
- Write best practices and guidelines for model-based development and Autosar integration.
- Plan and review outsourced activities, provide technical and managerial oversight, and approve deliverables.
- Leverage AI and GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, automate documentation, and improve code quality.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 8 years of overall related experience
- Strong programming skills in C & C++
- Strong knowledge in model-based development with AUTOSAR Application architecture
- Software design and implementation experience in MATLAB
- Knowledge on Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers
- Hands on experience with communication network protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UART, SPI
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Architecture
- Strong knowledge of SW architecture method and design
- Experience in requirement analysis and DCR analysis process for automotive software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Experience in SIL/MIL testing/D Space
- Experience in MAAB and MISRA guidelines and standards
- Strong knowledge of Functional Safety and ASPICE processes
- Strong Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS
- Knowledge in communication network protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UART, SPI
- Experience with SCM tools such as: Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, Doors, DNG
- Experience with debugging using relevant tools such as GDB, JTAG-Debugger, BDI, Lauterbach, ADB logs
- Experience with performance profiling tools
- Knowledge of software quality standards
- Proven ability working in Agile Scrum environment.
- Team player with great communication skills.
- Should be able to apply scripting languages where possible to minimize manual overheads.
- Passionately motivated to take ideas from R&D phase to a product.
- Strong experience in developing SWC in MATLAB for Automotive ECUs
- Hands-on experience in developing SWC applications on AUTOSAR architecture.
- Experience in using the VECTOR Davinci tool and could configure and generate the OS, MCAL, BSW will be added advantage.
- Adaptive AUTOSAR working experience is added advantage
- Interfacing Peripherals such as I/O devices, EEPROM, ADC, FLASH memory
- Display interfaces devices using I2C/SPI/UART/CAN/LIN
- Knowledge on inter process communications (IPC) with SPI, VLAN, UART and I2C
- Knowledge on POSIX standard APIs.
- Hand on experience on Caneo, CANalyzer.
- Hand-on experience with Git Hub version control tool.
- Any HMI GUI Prototype tool
