We are seeking an AWS Cloud Subject Matter Expert 2.
Located on-site in Chesapeake, VA.
ESN is seeking an AWS Cloud Subject Matter Expert 2 to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract to support NIWC LANT consists of Independent Validation & Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support. The Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) systems provides near real-time material-based readiness reporting to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N) and provides three additional primary capabilities to the Fleet including Ashore and Afloat systems. This support includes manual and automation of software testing, Scrum Master, operating in the AWS Cloud, management of JIRA/JAMA/Confluence, and project support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deployment and sustainment of cloud-based environments (AWS), software integration testing, sustainment, installation support, IA compliance and RMF support, SAFe Agile methodologies, CM, management of JIRA/Confluence and project support.
- Play an active hands-on role in Validating new software, integration into unique environments, maintaining cyber compliance, and providing project support, tracking, and reporting through OSA tools.
- Create process efficiencies and automation through tools, scripting, and automation by working closely with software developers and installation teams.
- Maintaining cloud-based environments and infrastructure to support integration, testing, cyber compliance, network administration, and user support.
Experience Requirements:
- Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with software maintenance to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: System Administration, Software Maintenance and Sustainment, Lifecycle Logistics, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
- Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in supporting DoN maintenance, logistics, IA, Cloud Administration, CM, Afloat Integration and business systems.
