DS Technologies Inc is looking for AWS DevOps Engineer (Cloud Migration) role for one of our premier clients.

Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer (Cloud Migration)
Location: Plano, TX (onsite)
Position Type: Contract

Role Summary:

The AWS DevOps Engineer will support and execute application migrations to AWS by building, operating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and container platforms. This role partners closely with application and security teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Git-based CI/CD tools to automate deployments for AWS workloads.
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure standardized, repeatable, and compliant provisioning.
  • Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based microservices environments, including hands-on debugging and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with application and security teams to drive SecDevOps compliance and implement cloud best practices.
  • Ensure operational readiness of AWS production systems, including availability, performance, scalability, and incident resolution.
Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and CI/CD tools.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience with proven ability to debug and troubleshoot microservices-based environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Bash/Shell and/or Python.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have:

  • Experience with commonly used AWS services in platform teams, including IAM, VPC, EKS, and other cloud-native services.
