Job Description



This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Back End Developer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure that powers our applications. This includes working with databases, APIs, and cloud services to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate APIs and services.
  • Implement and maintain database schemas and optimize database performance.
  • Work with cloud platforms and services.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in back-end development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Back End Developer.
  • Strong understanding of back-end development principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or Ruby.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.   

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.   

  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with performance optimization and scaling.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
