Job description

TCS Hiring for Backend Developer (Python / AWS / Terraform) 

Locations- Noida

Experience Range- 6 to 15 Yrs

Key Technical Skillsets-

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers.
  • Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Build and optimize data processing workflows using PySpark, AWS Glue.
  • Integrate with databases, queues, and external services securely and efficiently.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for backend services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.

Core Skills

  • Backend: Python, REST APIs, Microservices, DynamoDB, Authentication/Authorization
  • Cloud & Infra: AWS (EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, Glue API Gateway, IAM, VPC), Terraform (IaC modules, remote state, multi-env).
  • Data: PySpark, ETL/ELT concepts.
  • DevOps: Git, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions / Jenkins), Docker, Dependency Management tools (Poetry, UV)
