About The Role
Scaffolder
Altrad integrity Services are recruiting for Scaffolders to join the team.
STARTING – ASAP
LOCATION – Easington
DURATION – 8 weeks
HOURS – 38 per week Mon- Fri
Key Duties- Study work plans and communicate scaffolding requirements.
- Move and organize scaffolding materials to and from the work area.
- Build and secure scaffolding structures according to safety and technical specifications.
- Check measurements to ensure proper placement and stability of scaffolding.
- Fit base plates, standards, ledgers, transoms, braces, and boards as required.
- Attach safety equipment, barriers, and warning signs as needed.
- Regularly inspect scaffolding for damage, defects, or instability.
- Dismantle scaffolding structures after project completion or as directed.
- Clean and stack components for future use or transport.
- Follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Report hazards and incidents promptly to supervisors.
Requirements
- Experience or willingness to work in construction or outdoor environments.
- Understanding of basic scaffolding practices and safety requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret simple instructions and diagrams.
- Physical strength and stamina to carry heavy materials and work at heights.
- Good balance, coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Commitment to following safety rules and procedures.
- Willingness to wear and use personal protective equipment.
- CISRS certificate
- Working at Height certificate
