LABBB Collaborative provides educational programming and support services for over 300 special needs students from over 65 districts. (Classrooms in Lexington, Arlington, Belmont, Bedford & Burlington) LABBB serves students ages 3 to 22 years old with a variety of special needs including students on the autism spectrum, students with multi-handicaps, pervasive development disorders, developmental delays, language deficits and social/emotional challenges. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree from an approved BCBA program
- Valid License/Certification to practice as a BCBA in Massachusetts
- Strong background in use of technology and strategies related to positive behavior support and intervention
- Willingness and experience working with students with a variety of disabilities with a focus on social emotional needs who potentially present with challenging behaviors.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to commute between buildings/programs during the day.
- Ability and willingness to drive LABBB van -as required by program.
POSITION SUMMARY:The BCBA works directly under the supervision of the Department Head and Program Director and acts as a member of a student’s multidisciplinary team in providing academic, behavioral, transition and therapeutic support to students throughout the day; implements direct instruction, actively supervises students, and ensures that the physical and emotional needs of children are being met on a daily basis.
GENERAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide consultative behavior support services for children and adolescents in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations for educational and school-based purposes
- Use observation and various formal and informal assessments to conduct appropriate assessments of students in all phases of the evaluation process as related to Behavior Analysis in the school setting
- Write and implement goals, objectives, accommodations, modifications, service delivery, transition planning, and summary of student performance as needed for the IEP
- Attend IEP meetings to communicate results of evaluations/ re-evaluations, goals, objectives, accommodations, modifications, intervention plan, and type of service delivery needed.
- Attend required staff meetings; professional development trainings; and serve, as appropriate, on staff committees
- Provide support and training to school based teams to support generalization of skills, skill building, and data collection through the school day in all settings
- Create and maintain necessary materials, behavior support plans, and data collection systems to meet students’ needs in the classroom and community settings
- Conduct home assessments, functional behavior assessments and complete written assessment reports as needed
- Design home programs and create materials to meet the skill development and behavioral needs of students in their home environment where applicable
- Provide training in program implementation to parents and in-home ABA provider where applicable
- Create and implement a data collection system for each home service case to track student progress and parent training where applicable
- Complete regular documentation including data collection, progress notes, individualized behavior support plans
- Collaborate with members of multidisciplinary teams including teachers, BCBA, OT, PT, SLP, Counselors, and Vision providers and implement treatment plans as needed or requested to support skill development, generalization and transition planning across settings and throughout the day
Travel between schools for services, consultations and Team meetings as needed
Salary Range: $72,457 to $133,474, commensurate with experience and education. *2026-2027 Salary range is for school year and includes compensation for required 4-week summer program.

Physical Demands:
Physically capable of carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom including (but not limited to): consistently attending, working and standing for long periods of time, transferring students into and out of various equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds, working with students on the floor, moving quickly when needed in response to student behavior, and participating in physical interventions if necessary to keep the student or others in the environment safe.
Master degree preferred.
