POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a BIM Analyst to join our Digital Practice Technology team. This role serves as a technical builder within the Digital Practice, developing automation, integrations, and data-driven solutions that enhance MOREgroups design technology ecosystem. The BIM Analyst will turn model data into actionable insights, automate repetitive workflows, and help advance the technical capabilities of both the Digital Practice and Project Delivery teams.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using in-house developed add-ins, Python/C#, and the Revit API to streamline production workflows and reduce repetitive effort.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and centralize model and project data from Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and adjacent platforms.
- Build and maintain the dashboards and reports that deliver model health, data quality, and practice metrics, to definitions set with BIM Operations and Digital Practice leadership.
- Serve as the technical escalation resource for firm-developed tools, add-ins, and automated workflows.
- Mentor Coordinator staff in scripting, data practices, and technology workflows; build the team's automation literacy through coaching, training, and documentation.
- Analyze BIM data to identify workflow inefficiencies, standards deviations, and opportunities for automation across the practice.
- Administer and integrate design technology platforms via APIs (Autodesk Platform Services, ACC) and support interoperability between firm systems.
- Evaluate, prototype, and benchmark emerging technologies in support of firm R&D initiatives; document findings and recommend adoption paths.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment packages, and version control for firm-developed tools and scripts.
- Partner with the Digital Practice - Services team to gather requirements, pilot solutions with project teams, and support rollout and training.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in AEC design technology, BIM, or software development within a project-based environment.
- Proficiency in Python and/or C# with hands-on experience in the Revit API, Dynamo/Grasshopper, and Autodesk Platform Services.
- Experience building data visualizations and reports in Power BI or comparable analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate practice needs into technical solutions and coach others in their use.
