For new behavior analysts and BCaBA/BCBAs, our Behavioral Progression Trainer (BPT) Program provides mentorship, support, individualized training, goal setting, and resources to ensure you never feel alone in your journey.

Job description

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) professionals play an important role in improving the quality of life of individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs. They are responsible for designing and implementing behavioral treatment plans, providing training and support, and monitoring and evaluating client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior analysis support plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive plans for clients
  • Provide behavior plan training and supervision to therapists and caregivers during 1:1 ABA sessions and off-site meetings, complete caregiver proficiency checks, and provide feedback to caregivers on behavior plan implementation
  • Complete data reports, data analysis, monitor client outcomes and provide feedback to others completing reports/analysis as well as make treatment recommendations for ABA services.
  • Overall case management

Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skills, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • BCBA: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or approved field with all coursework completed, successful completion of experience hours, and active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential from the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
  • BCaBA: Bachelor's degree in a related field with Applied Behavior Analysis coursework, successful completion of experience hours, and active Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification from the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
  • Active licensure if required for practice state
