About Us: Compass is one of Virginia's largest and most respected providers of ABA therapy, dedicated to delivering individualized, data-driven, and compassionate care. We empower children with developmental challenges and their families through high-quality behavioral services.

At Compass, we believe in empowering our team members as much as we empower our clients. Join a supportive community of behavioral health professionals who are dedicated to making a real impact. Here, you'll have access to a collaborative environment, streamlined processes, and a commitment to supporting work-life balance, providing the tools and support necessary for your success.

Why Choose Compass?

Supportive Work Environment:

  • Lower monthly requirement with significant earning potential by exceeding billable requirement
  • A leadership team that values transparency, person-centered approaches, and healthy workplace culture.
  • Focus on quality services
  • Supportive resources to assist with administrative tasks (auths., staffing, intake, etc.), allowing you to focus on behavior analytic work

Cutting-Edge Tools and Resources:

  • Personal office space and Apple devices (MacBook and iPad) provided.
  • Data collection software tailored for ABA, saving you time on documentation.
  • Access to consultation and resources for specialized areas, such as trauma-informed ABA, transition-age clients, and medically complex cases.

Professional Growth and Development:

  • Comprehensive training for new supervisors and continuous professional development through weekly support, bi-monthly team consultations, free in-house CEUs, and our own internal annual conference with guest speakers who are leaders in the field.
  • Career advancement paths, with leadership roles available throughout the state

Flexible Benefits and Perks:

  • Generous PTO with a flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
  • Mileage, phone, and therapeutic supplies reimbursement.

Your Role as a BCBA at Compass:

As a Compass BCBA, you will:

  • Work with a small caseload of 6-11 clients, allowing you to focus on quality over quantity.
  • Use evidence-based ABA and complementary practices to oversee treatment plans, train caregivers, and enhance family engagement to maximize impact and results.
  • Coordinate care and maintain accurate documentation using our streamlined systems.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in a diverse range of settings (home, community, and clinic) while receiving ongoing mentorship and support to grow professionally.

Comprehensive Benefits for Full-Time BCBAs:

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with employer-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with up to 4% employer match after the first year.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) options.
  • Competitive base salary of $70,000 - $100,000, with significant earning potential through bonuses.

Requirements:

  • Active BCBA certification and Virginia licensure (or eligibility within one month of hire).
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Driver’s license with 1+ years of driving experience.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred.
