BO01: Boiler Operator
Job Summary:
Report to department supervisor all operating problems and equipment malfunctions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe, reliable operation of all Boiler House equipment to provide steam service to plant.
- Regularly inspect equipment.
- Must have knowledge of standby equipment and systems layout.
- Must know start-up/shut-down procedures.
- Maintain efficient operation of Boilers.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Communicate with Machine Room any operational issues.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Mechanical skills and abilities.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
