About the Role

SmartScale360 is hiring a Bookkeeper to support U.S.-based operations. This role focuses on bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivable (AR), and insurance billing coordination to ensure accurate and efficient financial processing.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivable, or QuickBooks, who are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for U.S.-based clients
  • Record and categorize financial transactions accurately and consistently
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and payment processor accounts
  • Process invoices, billing, and accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP)
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and basic reconciliation summaries
  • Assist with expense tracking, vendor payments, and bookkeeping documentation
  • Ensure compliance with standard U.S. accounting practices and reporting requirements
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc bookkeeping and administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support (U.S. clients preferred)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) or similar accounting software
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (AR/AP, reconciliations, expense tracking)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multitask across finance functions
  • Reliable remote work setup

  • Laptop/PC: Intel i5 or equivalent, 8GB RAM minimum
  • Internet: 100 Mbps stable connection
