You should be passionate about:
- Python and backend development .
- Implementing code that is well tested and follows good development practices.
- Working in an agile environment.
- Learning new technologies and helping others.
You should be strong on all of the following:
- Usage of built-in python’s modules.
- Bundling and distribution of python modules.
- Usage of unit-testing modules, (e.g. pytest)
- Performance optimization, SQL tuning, caching strategies.
- CI / CD experience.
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Bonus skills:
- Cloud infrastructure experience: (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Python Libraries for Data Science (e.g. Pandas, Numpy)
- Database management lenguaje: SQL
- Javascript (at least one of the 7,000 JS frameworks)
- Client-side MVC (e.g. Django).
- Other languages/frameworks (e.g. JS, Go)
- HTML5 fanciness (e.g. websockets, canvas, components)
