Position Description:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with strong communication skills who can collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, improve business processes, and support the successful delivery of digital initiatives. Experience working in Agile environments is essential.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for development teams.
• Collaborate with developers, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze and optimize business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Facilitate requirement refinement sessions and support backlog prioritization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and validating business requirements.
• Perform data analysis using SQL to support business decisions and validate system behavior.
• Maintain project documentation using Confluence and manage work items in Jira.
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and business process modeling tools.
• Ability to translate business language into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
• Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• German language skills are considered an advantage.
