C++ Programming

Contract duration :6months

Location: Bangalore

Education: Btech or BE or  Mtech or MCA

Purpose :

-          To migrate store property from FreeBSD to RHEL

Responsibilities :

-          Port c++ code from 32-bit to 64-bit on RHEL OS

-          Quick learning of store architecture and functionality

-          Dev testing roles with the ported code

-          Debug and fix issues in unit testing and functional testing

-          Should work with a team and take responsibility of the team’s progress

-          Migrating databases from FreeBSD to RHEL, which includes 32-bit to 64-bit migration

Competencies :

-          Hands on experience in c++ programming (at least 4+) on Linux

-          Experience with debugging tools like gdb, valgrind etc.,

-          Strong knowledge and experience in Unix/Linux operating system concepts and environment (at least 4+)

-          Experience in perl scripting. Experience in writing extensions over c/c++ is desirable

-          Good knowledge of complete lifecycle of a program (compiling, linking, loading, etc.,)

-          Good knowledge and experience of databases (c/c++ APIs)

-          Experience in apache is preferred

-          Any previous experience of porting code from 32-bit to 64-bit would be beneficial

-          Good communication skills

-          Good team player

-          Good comprehension skills (quick learning of the store system)
