Job description

THE COMPANY:

STACK INFRASTRUCTURE (STACK) provides digital infrastructure to scale the world’s most innovative companies. We are an award-winning industry leader in building, owning, and operating highly efficient, cost-effective wholesale, colocation, and cloud data centers. Each of our national facilities meets or exceeds the highest industry standards in all operational categories of availability, security, connectivity, and physical resilience.

STACK offers the scale and geographic reach that rapidly growing hyperscale and enterprise companies need. The world runs on data. Data runs on STACK.

THE POSITION:

At STACK, the Campus Program Manager is an essential partner to the General Manager, Construction, and Construction leadership team in driving the direction of a large-scale multi-phase construction project, supporting daily operations and logistics, and providing program and project-based support to the Campus Leadership Team. This role will serve as the primary interface between STACK, the client, and all project delivery teams for a large, high visibility construction project.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a master problem-solver and an organizational force. You’ll have the ability to think strategically and act quickly and have exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate would be able to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn the challenging yet rewarding Data Center Construction business, so you should be curious and excited to roll up your sleeves and dig into new projects and tasks within and outside of your normal job responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and coordinate a broad range of responsibilities for the campus leadership team, including managing a complex schedule and prioritizing often conflicting tasks and objectives
  • Drive the successful planning, coordination, and execution of client deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle—from pre-construction through commissioning—while ensuring transparency, alignment, and exceptional service.
  • Communicate and collaborate directly and on behalf of the campus leadership team with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, partners, and clients
  • Prepare presentations on project status, compile project materials, and support messaging for presentations
  • Organize and support meetings and prepare related materials, including agendas, minutes, action items, progress summaries, and client/executive presentations.
  • Maintain project trackers, schedules, and documentation to ensure visibility of deliverables and progress across all project phases in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline communication, reporting, and client support.
  • Prepare and maintain reporting materials for leadership and client reviews, including performance metrics, risks, and project close-out documentation
  • Proactively identify potential challenges in scope, schedule, budget, or quality; lead cross-functional teams in implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that all stakeholder-requested changes are reviewed for feasibility, cost impact, and schedule implications, and that they are communicated and approved through proper channels.

THE DETAILS:

  • Location: Culpepper, VA
  • Travel: Minimal domestic travel required, 5-15%
  • Benefits: Healthcare, Dental Care, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Leave Programs
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience, ideally in the Real Estate & Construction industry (Developer, Owner’s Representative, General Contractor / Subcontractor, Design & Engineering Firm, Developer/Owner/Operator)
  • Data Center and Executive Assistant experience is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity
  • High-level expertise with Cloud-based MS Office Suite – especially Power Point and Excel
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities, pivot quickly from one to the next and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Proactive self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Professionalism, confidentiality & discretion
  • Client-facing experience and management skills
  • Effective communicator – email, video conference, phone and in person
  • Strong administrative skills, follow-through, results-oriented
  • Computer savvy and aptitude to learn programs and platforms (NetSuite, Docusign, MS Project, PowerBI, etc)

THIS MIGHT BE RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

  • You are a strong communicator, you are persuasive and clear, blending analytics with experience in decision-making.

  • You do not get flustered easily. You can juggle multiple priorities while balancing urgent requests with shifting timelines and deliverables.

  • You are a team builder. You take the time to understand and develop the strengths of your resources while formulating long-term plans for the growth and success of the team.

  • You are naturally curious and driven toward continual improvement. While you celebrate your successes, you take time to review and analyze campaigns for future learning.

WHY STACK?

  • We offer a competitive compensation package with strong benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K program, flexible spending accounts – even a cell phone subsidy.

  • We foster a culture of appreciation, including peer-to-peer recognition and rewards programs.

  • Fun is part of our DNA, with events, game nights, happy hours, and barbecues.

  • We’re growing – this is a great time to join and make an impact!
